The Influence Of Welding Speed On Welding Forming
The pipeline all-position automatic welding machine produced by Tianjin Yixin Pipe Equipment Co., Ltd. adopts pipe fixation and autonomous crawling of the welding head to realize all-position automatic welding (5G welding) of the pipeline. The welding process adopts high-efficiency and low-cost CO2 gas shielded welding ( GMAW), the welding wire can be solid-cored or flux-cored, the whole welding is more rationalized, and the operation is more user-friendly.
Under certain other conditions, increasing the welding speed will reduce the welding heat input, thus reducing the weld width and penetration. Since the amount of welding wire metal deposited on the weld per unit length is inversely proportional to the welding speed, it also leads to a decrease in the weld reinforcement.
Welding speed is an important index to evaluate welding productivity. In order to improve welding productivity, welding speed should be increased. However, in order to ensure the weld size required in the structural design, the welding current and arc voltage must be increased correspondingly while increasing the welding speed. These three quantities are interrelated. At the same time, it should also be considered that when increasing the welding current, arc voltage, and welding speed (that is, high-power welding arc, high welding speed welding), it is possible to produce welding defects during the formation of the molten pool and the solidification process of the molten pool, such as biting. Edges, cracks, etc., so there is a limit to increasing the welding speed.
